Prior to accessing the Request for Bids (RFB), each prospective Bidder shall be required to register on the CGIPP website (www.ipp-cogen.co.za) and pay a non-refundable fee of R 14,500 (fourteen thousand and five hundred Rand), nett of all charges which entitles a Bidder to submit one project at any bid Submission Date.
To register each prospective Bidder is required to complete the registration form under the “Sign In” tab and to follow the instructions to complete the registration. Once registered, the prospective Bidder is requested to log onto the website and upload their proof of payment under the “Payments” tab.
The payment of the non-refundable fee of R 14 500 (fourteen thousand and five hundred Rand), nett of all charges, entitles each prospective Bidder to have access to the RFB and to submit one project at any bid Submission Date. If the prospective Bidder intends to submit more than one project they will need to make an additional payment of R 14 500 (fourteen thousand and five hundred) , nett of all charges per additional project and to upload the proof of payment under the “Payments” tab.
Once the Bid Submission Notification window is opened the prospective Bidder will be required to provide the details of the project (s). The Department shall communicate only with Bidders that have completed the electronic registration form and have paid the required fee.
The required fee is payable by means of direct deposit or electronic funds transfer, which fee must be made without set-off or deduction. All payments must be made in immediately cleared funds to the Project Development Fund established by National Treasury:
The Bidder’s company name should be used as the payment reference in the electronic registration form.
